Singapore’s first competition for the sale of residential land (GLS) in the Farrer Park region concluded on Tuesday evening (April 27) with ten offers, with strong bid values indicating developers’ “hunger for the property.”
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has confirmed three GLS sites for approval in the second half of the year, including the new condominium site on Farrer Road. It is located on Farrers Road in City Fringe District 8 and spans an area of 87,329 square metres with easy access to Farrer Park via the MRT. On Northumberland Road, City Development (CDL), in collaboration with MCL Land, is redeveloping a 99-year-old rental house.
Northumberland Condo is also connected to the Central Expressway through important arterial roads such as Race Course Road and Bukit Timah Road (CTE). Northumberland Road’s new condo development is also near the planned Uptown Farrer and Farrer Square developments, which will feature 42 high-quality medical rooms at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple.
